Tire Shop In Calgary

It is critical to monitor the condition of your tires to ensure the safety and effectiveness of your vehicle. Good tires improve performance and fuel economy, allowing you to drive in adverse weather conditions with relative ease.

With so many different tires, it’s understandable that walking into a tire shop and attempting to select new tires can be overwhelming.

Furthermore, there is a distinction between purchasing four new tires and purchasing the best ones for your vehicle. However, when determining which tires are best for your vehicle, you may be unsure where to begin. The team at Trail Tire Auto Centers is here to help!

Types Of Tires Available At Trail Tire

Trail Tires is a well-reputed automotive workshop with a vast inventory of branded tires for all-scale vehicles. Here’s a type of tires available:

All-season Tires

All-season tires, one of the most popular tires, are designed to perform well in almost any weather condition. These tires are well-known for providing a smooth, quiet ride, fuel-efficient, and long tread life. They may offer traction in light snow but not in deep snow. Snow tires can handle heavy snow, ice, and below-freezing temperatures better than all-season tires.

Winter Tires

Winter tires are your best bet if you need your vehicle in cooler climates where snow is frequent. These tires are ideal for extreme winter conditions that all-season tires cannot handle. Snow tires are made of a special rubber compound that does not harden in cold temps.

Summer Tires

Summer tires are frequently mistaken for “regular” tires in our area. Summer tires perform best in warmer climates, making them an excellent choice for many vehicles during the warmer months, but they should be swapped out when the temperature starts to drop.

Mud-Terrain Tires

Mud-terrain tires are designed for vehicles that primarily drive off-road in difficult conditions. These tires can handle soft sand and deep mud better than any other type. The mud tire’s deep, rugged tread pattern provides excellent traction. Because of this design, these tires will not be as smooth, quiet, or comfortable on normal roads as other tires.

Should You Buy All 4 Tires At Once?

It is generally recommended to replace all four tires at once. This is because tires can wear unevenly and have different tread depth levels, affecting your car’s handling and stability. If you only replace two tires, the new tires will have a greater tread depth than the old tires, which can cause your car to pull to one side or the other. Additionally, having mismatched tires can lead to increased wear and tear on your car’s suspension and drivetrain, which can be costly to repair.
