Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October 1 to 31, 2026)

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October 1 to 31, 2026), Trail Tire is proud to donate $2 from every tire sold to support breast cancer research and screening across Western Canada. Tires sold in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba support their respective cancer foundations.

This marks Trail Tire’s third year supporting breast cancer initiatives across Western Canada, and we’re proud to continue our commitment year after year.

Learn how Trail Tire supports breast cancer initiatives in your province.

British Columbia

Help improve access to breast cancer screening in British Columbia. Donations will support mobile screening clinics across the province.

For people who live far from screening clinics, accessing a mammogram can mean driving hours from home. This is especially true for many rural and Indigenous communities. With Trail Tire’s support, mobile screening clinics are helping bring breast cancer screening closer to home.

Alberta

For people who live far from screening clinics, accessing a mammogram can mean driving hours from home. This is especially true for many rural and Indigenous communities. With Trail Tire’s support, mobile screening clinics are helping bring breast cancer screening closer to home.

In Alberta alone, Screen Test Mobile Clinics travel to 120 communities each year, including 28 Indigenous communities. This summer, Trail Tire had the opportunity to visit one of these clinics and see the impact of this service firsthand.

The new mobile units have replaced aging trailers that served Albertans for more than a decade. Equipped with state-of-the-art mammography technology, they provide greater comfort, accessibility and space, helping more Albertans access potentially life-saving breast cancer screening in their own communities.

In Alberta, one in seven women is expected to develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Since 1991, Screen Test has performed more than half a million mammograms across the province, helping detect thousands of potential cancers.
